First of all, Wifey . . . , honey . . . ,
I know EXACTLY why Cow was named Cow.  Unfortunately, you just made me think of a blog explaining the reason, so I'm not going to tell you why.

Second, do you reeeeeeally think I can't top those names!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah right.  lol

They should do a book about odd nicknames and tell us the basis for them.

bel......
You are right about drunks -  I'd rather they stay away.  You just can't reason with them.

bel..............

When I was a child, I knew a woman named "Toad".  She was the mother of the neighbor kids I always played with.  hahaha

Poor lady!

Taps
People have strange nicknames and this one certainly shocked me because I saw nothing that would have come close to fitting.

Bel
I used to know a pretty lady that went by the name "Moose".   I think it got started because she was a bit clumsy about knocking things over and breaking them.  She definitely did not look like a moose.

what a blankety blank blank blank of a man.

(I'll let you fill in the blanks).  Now imagine LIVING with him!!!

Glad you and Carl made it home safely, in one piece, in spite of him!

Great system you and Carl have!
Drunks are the bane of a party, imo. Wishes for a wonderful New Year Bel.

Generally we do stay home and that had been our plan to start with but we figured this crowd was small and all would be fine.  UGH!  big mistake!

No matter the nonsense, we spent it together in the same country, state and room.  MUCH improved over a certain New Year about 2 years ago.  The rest is just stuff.

That is a sad story. Sorry that was how you came to greet the New Year. I am glad you two stick together.

The sad thing is........
had he been successful with his efforts to make Carl drink....and something had happened on the way home.....He would have been one of the one on the local news telling how he was shocked at how much Carl had to drink before he drove home......good job, Boss!
