Attribution for "Brown Eyes, Why Are You Blue?"
It was bugging me, so I did a little more digging and found it was Alfred Bryan's lyrics and George W. Meyer's music -- which I probably could have found out also by digging through my record collection -- but still don't have the lyrics. At some point, I would like to get another record player capable of playing 78's so I can listen to those discs again.

There's an old song (as in I got it from one of the 78's from my grandparent's attic) that goes something like this -- I am working from memory here and I can't find it on the web:
Teardrops in the night,

When your eyes are blue

Brown eyes, why are you blue?
Brown eyes, what can I do?
Don't shed your tears.
