Yes, it can explain things that seem "unexplainable."

Hmm
I don't know that I have ever felt that depth of emotion at first sight!  I am not sure I "hate" anyone really...

What an aweful experience...I do believe it though...That explains a lot.
Yeah...

Ariala--
What I like about your experience is that you didn't "pooh pooh" it and try to rationalize it away, but you stay open to the possibilities. I suppose we'll never really know what's what until we die, and then, it won't matter so much!

Julia, interesting...I was told I was from Atlantis and was a master healer

and practiced the magical arts and that I came into this existence as a Christian because in that life I was persecuted and killed for being a witch.     What's interesting is that I wrote a song, long before this lady told me about my past life (I didn't go asking, she came telling) called Last Night in Atlantis that described what happened there. I get the magazine called Atlantis Rising and read it from cover to cover.

And yes, I'm a Christian who doesn't believe in reincarnation, but can stretch my imagination to say that since energy is never destroyed but changes into other forms, I have no doubt that atoms with cell memory from the past (other people's pasts) can exist in our body's and minds and hence these experiences.

Either way, interesting post!

spitfire--
yeah, cellular memory makes perfect sense to me, and it explains many things. I can understand why others might have a hard time swallowing this, though. It's like the saying goes, Only when you are ready...

Presley--
I did think it was really strange that she had three friends named Julia, until I found out what our connection was. As for the poem...well, it was my very first poetic attempt and it was beyond AWFUL!! LOL. I posted it in my poetry blog once as a laugh...if I can find it I'll let you know.

Julia,
It's interesting, isn't it? I just finished reading Conversations With The Other Side by Sylvia Browne. (Actually, it was "written" by her spirit guide, Francene.) This is very true about cellular memory and I've talked about it with a few people during readings b/c the question often pops up about this type of thing. Interesting post!

Julia

Okay.

Based on your explanations I HAVE experienced hate-at-first site on many, MANY occasions.  It's that feeling you get when you can't quite put your finger on something, but you know something doesn't feel right.  Hate is such a strong word, but everything you described is exactly how I have felt with people.  It sort of gives me the chills (in a good way) to think about.  I'm also in awe that you were all connected to one another prior to being connected now.  Is the poem your wrote on any of your blogs here?  I'd like to read it!

miriouma--
yes to everything you said, those are good observations. The implications ARE staggering and i guess it takes an open mind and willingness to believe it's possible. Traditional religions pretty much rule out the possibility of reincarnation for many people, as it goes against the whole "going to heaven when I die" concept.

Julia,

Very interesting blog...

It seems few of us really grasp, or are willing to grasp, the possibility of a multitude of physical lives.  The implications of a past life (or many) with a particular person are staggering.  It's about that cycle of birth and death, having to face oneself repeatedly.

Very cool!
