Not on New Year's Eve...
But the guy next door's a bit ticked because I didn't trim the branches overhanging the sidewalk when he told me to. He's the priest for the church across the street, and the leaves kept his all-night obnoxious parking lot lights from glaring in my windows...

When I was a kid, we used to open the doors at midnight and hit pots
and pans and one of my brother's used to put on a shrieky old lady's voice and yell, "HAPPY NEW YEAR" We laughed until we cried. Anymore I'm in bed by 10 p.m. with ear plugs LOL
