Maybe Mom, Gramma and the Aunties were all waiting for YOU to call them, eh?? Or as my sister sarcastically says, I guess the phone only works one way...

For what it's worth, if I wasn't in so much pain that I had to dramatically limit my computer (time, I would have sent you a Christmas greeting unprompted.

But we'll always have Pogo! lol.

I hate Christmas, too!

For me, it's come to mean all that pressure to buy, buy, buy. If the jewelers can't convince you to buy that diamond (never mind that there's perfectly adequate emerald, ruby or sapphire-studded jewelry out there), then maybe the local discount retailer can pressure you into getting that unnecessary gift something. And if you don't buy that stuff, you're nothing.

if it were me, I would phone all those and ask for an explanation of why they didn't call.
