Get some Airborne (you can find it in the cold or vitamin section of the pharmacy).  I had that horrible bug a couple of weeks ago and while it did not take it all away, within 24 hours I was MUCH better.  Carl has been taking it and didn't get sick at all even though both Pam and I got it.

Have a wonderful Christmas and feel better!

TAPS, I went through an entire box of kleenex in two days.
Scary, huh?  Better outside my body than inside, is my philosophy. Thanks to you and all for your kind words and sympathy.  It does boggle my mind when I imagine being ill and in a cardboard box . . . .

MariaMaria, I like the idea of hot chocolate . . . .

except that I think I'm all out of that so will stick with tea. Thanks for your good wishes!

Thanks dear Justi. I certainly have been doing the sleep thing.
And every day awaken feeling a little better.  Amazing how our bodies can heal, given time and rest and a little TLC.

Presley -- lungs inside chest -- will keep that in mind.
I have Christmas music blaring from speakers and hot tea in hand.  What could be better, eh?

Corbin, a hot toddy -- great idea!
Not sure I have the requisite alcohol required, but hopefully some tea will do instead?  Thanks!

I'm so sorry that you are sick but I'm glad that you are in a warm, comfortable place and that there is someone to check on you and bring you things you might need and cheer you and love you.  May you get well quickly and may you be blessed with health and strength and love and joy in spite of nasty tissues and coughing.  Merry Christmas.

You need your big old fuzzy robe, the old one. A warm bath and a rub down in vicks vapor rub, cozied up in warm blankets and sleep, sleep, until all this junk is gone away;;;;before morning. Merry Christmas with lung intact and healed.

My wish for you is that your lungs stay where they belong - inside your chest.

I hope you get to feeling better soon!  Merry Christmas.
