By the way, kingmi, I'd like to see anybody do something with regard to
immigration -- as opposed to all this political posturing and do-nothingness that has become routine on both sides of the aisle in Washington these days.

Now, that GlennB idea is one to think about, kingmi. I am not a great fan
of Jeb Bush, but really hate to see a man's prospects dashed because of actions of another.  But such is the way of politics and family matters...

saul, thank you for writing about this. I love Jeb. I think
He should throw himself into the immigratiob debate full force. As Jimmy Carter did, he should begin a program and build a future around untegration of immigrants and related issues. Jeb Bush, CEO and President of Latino Immigration International.

More than settling immigrants and housing, he could provide invaluable education and first hand experience on race relations, education and economy to the Republican idiots who are throwing away their congresional and executive political hopes. These guys are clueless and need to get a vision for a new America.

They could hire GlennB as press secretary!

Quite right, SlyCy. But vigilance in such an apathetic and blindly led
society has been a job relegated to the few, such as you and I.  Witness the millions of "informed" and uninformed who voted in the last two elections.  They showed their apathy in why they voted for who.  And when they were motivated by issues (and various nonissues), they were swayed by misinformation and extremism, not cogent facts.

If we're lucky, these bozos will disappear for this generation, but these
jackals breed like rabbits and we have to be vigilant about future generations.
