Have you ever heard of a product called Zicam? It works really well... I used it the last couple of times I had a cold and not only were my symptoms relieved to a large degree, the duration of the cold was cut in half if not better...Hope you are well soon...

My husband does this and it works. Try it or not it is too tedious for me to do. Take 10,000 mg Vitamin C. Then every hour for the next four hours or dirreah do 5,000 hourly. Then go to 5,000 every four hours and finally drop to one per day over what ever you take normally. It works for him, like clock work. Hope you soon feel better.

I've run into the same situation, with my darling son who has been sick for about two weeks now. Luckily, for me I get by with mostly a bad cough every now and then and sinus drainage.
