I have never figured the rankings out, Timmytales, it's a mystery to me
re your note on the troops, it's tough to generalize. I live with a vet, who is vehemently opposed to this war, but others may not agree.

I think you move faster through the lower ratings based on activity on post..So you can be rapidly moved forward in rank until you reach number where there is constant activity...
I may be wrong on that though..
