This is a good series. Socialism is a vein of failure that has run through the European countries and brought welfare to the point of breaking creativity, family structure and decency in my opinion. The War's killings at will broke reason, justice and faith in good. This left them weak and susceptible to what ever came on them. Before the invasion of Islam it was tawdriness, drugs, youth on the take.... This is happening to the USA right now.

I dislike arguing that momentous events like WW1 & 2 have little or nothing to do with the demographic catastrophe that is Europe, but I feel it is the case. If there had been miracles that allowed Europe to avoid both holocausts and the Cold War I believe the population crash would have come even earlier because the cradle-to-grave socialism would certainly have been instituted generations sooner. It's nany states that kill healthy families in a society. The welfare state is a threat to national security like no other.

I am not sure that I understand your comment. I am not talking about Christians flooding into Muslim countries, neither am I talking about Buddhism or Mexicans, nor am I talking about my fears. Actually, if you knew me, you'd be amazed how free of fears I am, lol. But you don't, so that too is not at issue. Now, if you want to address my arguments, show me where I am wrong, or where I ought to explain myself better, I'd be delighted to discuss things with you. But your assumptions about my 'fears' are really of no concern to me, nor to anyone else, I suspect...

wonder if Muslims are outnumbering Buddhists and other religions in their growth in Europe et al.?
it seemeth to me that maybe you have the same fear of Moslems that you have of Mexicans crossing our border?

You brilliantly outline the history and allows me to follow where your going ( I think). So what your saying is the immigration after these wars ( due to different alignments during the war) is what is driving the number of Islamic peoples into these different European countries?

Nautikos, Though some would call this a long post, I did not want it to stop. I was just going good. Since you don't write everyday, I lost track of when to come back and so here I am a couple days late. Maybe that is good in that you are about ready to post Chapter V. What about the possibility that the people themselves....not the government or rulers have just lived for thousands of years under tyranny of one form or another.....one conquerer after another century after century almost makes submissiveness an instinctual thing for the lower classes of Europe. same crap...just different "crappers".
Tie this with their becoming comfortable with their social programs.....not having to be concerned with the basics......and they don't care who's in charge or who's threatening to take over......until it's too late.....sound familiar? Are they conditioned to accept what happening to them as always being the inevitable?

This kind of discussion drags me down and I don't make that statement argumentatively my friend.
I have taken well over a half hour reading the last chapters of your posts on Muslims etc. and it is quite disturbing.
Bottom line for me is, we in North America and in Europe as well, have created this situation because of abusive capitalism somehow.
I don't have the education or the expertise to debate the issue at all, but personally I feel that greed, profit at the expense of our own countrymen, laziness, and a reliance on things like gambling revenues to support states and provinces, is what is killing us all.
The fact that we are responsible for things like drug addiction and the criminals that feed it, because we were too weak willed to actually DO something about it~ like institute real long jail sentences or even administer the death penalty for drug selling~ perhaps Muslim's or Islam is God's answer to our culture.
Or, if you don't happen to believe in a god of somekind~and I have no argument with that~ maybe it's just natures answer, human nature.
Islam sees North America and Europe as ripe for the picking, they have more sand than common sense, but they're going to try and pick our drug riddled carcasses clean.
