Nautikos

I've just been catching up but don't think I'll enter into this discussion.

I shall rely on Cdn. military training that used to frown on discussions of religion or politics amongst the men because it just makes trouble.

Anyway, there aren't any mosques in Pembroke and if one started to go up here it would be down by morning. lol Good blog though my friend, but I have no answers.

I'm sorry Naut......
I guess it's guilt by association......

Justi,
Thanks for your comments! As you know, I do not see things from the perspective of revelation, in fact, truth be told, I don't know much about revelation...I just know a little bit of the facts on the ground, as it were...

You're as big an ass as Corbin, just with slightly better manners,
Manners and no morals. Ick.  I'm sorry I wasted my time.

OH WELL, is that you have to say, Nautikoe, well, goodbye, then.
Don't even bother commenting on my blog. Sayonara, it's been nice.

Nautikos
This is excellent stuff. My husband and I have been following this move for years. People all over the world should open their eyes and see what is happening. Yes many churches are falling away. This and all the rest is woven through out the Bible from Genesis to Revelation if one knows how to 'rightly divide' it. Many of the faith have long ago left the Bible except for the Hollywood type love passages. Good writing these post are important postings. Be blessed.

thanks for the comments! If I can get some people thinking about these issues, it's worthwhile...

thanks! I really appreciate that. This is an issue which simply hasn't found much resonance on this side of the Atlantic...

Corbin
thanks for the compliment. Actually, I find myself more and more diverging from the book, reluctantly, because I had begun with the intention of providing an overview. I shall still talk about the book, but probably introduce some other material and more of my own thinking as well. I will likely have at least two more parts to this. I just wish a few more people would show an interest, though. It's a good thing I'm not in this for the money...

Naut
I haven't read the book but feel like you have educated me to it..

Putting all religious beliefs aside, and all politics. To not know the real threat is to allow ones head to be buried forever in sands...

This has been excellent reading..Thank you~

Nautikos, I can only second the first paragraph of the comment by Corbin-Dallas. Your writing on this subject should be so eye-opening for one asleep at the wheel of Western culture while the Tsunami rises behind.  But, there are none so blind as they who will not see.

Good Morning, Naut......
I have to say your assessment of the book and the current situation the book refers to is well........better than the actual book!

Western Liberals refuse to look at the situation realistically .......they don't want to believe that a group such as the Islamofacists, are actually a threat...talk about being in denial.

Domestically we need to:

Report honestly about jihadist activity in the US and the west.

Reclassify Muslim organizations as political, not religious groups.  They continue to refuse to renounce any intention now or in the future to replace the US Constitution with sharia law......so they are acting in a political manner.

Foster and nurture pride in our Western Culture......we have given the world notions of universally accepted human rights (except in the Islamic world), technological advancement beyond the wildest dreams of previous ages, and a hell of a lot more.....

Our children need to take pride in their heritage and know that they have a culture and a history to be proud of........to realize that they ARE NOT the children of oppressors and villains, and that their homes and families ARE worth defending against those who want to take them away, and ARE willing to kill us to do so......

This last part is what is being so quickly diluted by Western Liberals and their allies in the press and for me it's a greater overall threat than Al-qaeda itself....

Being a Christian Liberal Democrat puts me in the minority here, Nautikos

I can't really comment on a book I have not read.  As for the barking, well, a fair amount of it seems to be coming from a certain right-wing friend of yours.  I love talking over pasta recipes with you, and shootng the breeze about bird pictures, but I really am tired of the thrust, parry, riposte and repartee, of fencing with your friends.
