Hi Tony
Your mastery of story-telling through sonnets is great. This one of yours is autobiographical. Try getting them published. I'm sure it will find a good market.

Tony

At 20 I too moved from my home town. I didn’t mess around – I moved 3,000 miles way to the other side of Canada.  And it’s funny to think of how everything that has happened since would not have occurred if I had not made that decision.  Is life a simply series of happenings or a result of conscious decision?  The latter, I think.

Tonyzonit,
brilliant.. when I went to university I learned to think for myself and gained in confidence.  Pity I waited so long!  Nice to think of "leaving our mark" through our children.

Tony reveals himself, one foot at a time, I mean, one verse at a time. Interesting. Have no regret, Tony, you have lovely kids, that is the most important thing in the world.
