Hi Tony, what a fine sonnet again recounting daily happenings.
It reminds me of a frog that lived in Bingle Bog. It goes like this:
Once upon a time a frog/ Croaked away in Bingle Bog/ Every night from dusk to dawn/ He croaked awn and awn and awn/ Other creatures loathed his voice,/ But, alas, they had no choice/ and the crass cacophony/ Blared out from the sumac tree/ At whose foot the frog all night/ Minstrelled on till morning light.
Neither stone nor prayers nor sticks, /Insults or complaints or bricks,/ Stilled the frog's determination/ To display to his heart's elation.....and so it goes awn and awn and awn and awn. It's a funny tale. Similar situation you find yourself in? This will give you solace, I hope. BTW, I attempted a sonnet yesterday. Do give me your sapient diagnosis.

Noisy neighbors are a pain, Tony, I am SO relieved mine moved
I can't tell you, there's nothing like a good night's sleep and it's hell without it. Good luck with this. Sleep is a pretty basic human need.

SORRY OLD BOY
Here in the sticks I can't even see another house. In deep winter, if I look really hard, I can see a light a night.... Be of good cheer, and buy them a beer.

Ha Ha! Tony, if it was not so annoying for you, I would laugh...
So, you did not follow my suggestions in my email. You should give it some thoughts you know.
Witty pithy little morsel this one.

Damn... those noisy neighbours are acting up again
but some how you managed to take a "day to day" kind of event and weave it into one of your clever sonnets. You have a vibrant mind...sleep or no sleep.
