Re: entertaining
Yes- entertaining sometimes, except when you realize that your options are to go home alone (again) or go home with someone not so charming- I always choose alone, but oh, how boring it is sometimes. At least I have my principles...

RedScribe - sounds entertaining. I used to enjoy my ex-girlfriends
accounts of being hit on by funky dudes when she'd go out with her friends. Guys in bars need to know that desperation is the worst cologn

Re; Freemanwalking
Yes- going solo does make you smoke and drink way too much. In fact, I went out last night to medicate my homesickness on the eve of Thanksgiving and got hit on by some less than charming men. Talk about tiresome....where are the nice ones?

I've been in the same boat since late July. Though I am just now starting
to "look" I have found the whole affair (or lack of one ha ha ha ha )to be boring.  "Uninvolved" me smokes and drinks way too much.

Stay the course...stay open-minded...you're trying to have a life plan, which I respect...so don't be too hard on yourself. They say you always meet someone when you're not looking...I thought my husband was going to be a one-night stand...so go figure!!!

Thanks for the reccommendation
I need some new reads...thanks for recommending that. God, I miss Sex and the City. That show said all the things no one else wanted to say...

Reminds me of...
A paranormal, erotic book series I've fallen hopelessly in love with for the past 12 years: Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter. I think you'd get a lot out of it, and see a lot of similarities between you and your men, and Anita, Richard, and Jean-Claude.

And yes, dammit, I miss Sex and the City. There's rumors of it coming to the big screen. Poll: Will Samantha and Smith get married, or will Big (excuse me, JOHN) and Carrie tie the knot?
