FARSAILOR, this poem made me think of the blues song, "Try a little
tenderness" and smile. "She may be weary, young girls they do get weary, wearing the same old shabby dress, but when she gets weary try a little tendernesss". I especially like The Commitments version.

Yes, Farsailor, we must do all that. Pity really!
(Joke.) In all seriousness, we need to do this to everyone, women and men, really, but the irony is, and it's a cliche, but we're often least considerate of all towards our partners, the person of our choice that we supposedly put above all others. It suggests that we go into relationships for selfish reasons in the first place. Raises some interesting thoughts - well done.
