Ha ha!
I like your pet peeves and, funnily enough, I, across the ocean, was hissed at by geese just this weekend, though I was fool enough to be hand-feeding them bread. The hound of music, Julie Andrews! I'm a fan, but your words made me smile this morning

your boredom does float my boat, at your expense...Ce n'est pas gentil. J'espère que tu vas aimer les photos que je t'ai envoyées ce soir. Cela devrait te raviver un peu.

So Boredom continuing Tony's Kingdom, giving delight to subjects with his wisdom. But the one shot that floored me was, "these are all things that do not float my boat". How many of the hundred listed out still remain? We'd like to hear about them too, after the appetizer that you have served us.

Tony i swear i commented on your poem,
may be the school swallowed it, i was being watched, so ...any way i cannot think of one intelligent thing to say due to undue exhaustion and child abuse, meaning, teacher suffering trauma abuse from unruly brat.

Au revoir, Tony, I find the English nanny reality show here very SCARY.
She looks like Atila the Hun in sensible shoes. Run, run run away!

Exactly. She is a frightening mother hen figure who,
(In the case of Mary P, anyway - I've never bothered to watch Hound) because she can't have her own children, somehow chooses to torture those who do. She also uses the Dick Van Dyke character who spends his money and time on her for nothing in return, not even respect. RESPECT, find owt wot it means to moy (Dick's failed attempt at a London accent rendered badly there, sorry)
My bedtime - au revoir tout le monde

yeah, that Julie, the one who was bounding arond the Alps, yodeling
at 6 am, the early equivalent of aerobics at 6 am, which I dislike as much as you dislike Julie for the same reasons, the perpetually fake and perky who have the secret repressed dark side of Kathy Bates in Misery as she whacks the poor author on the ankles, but refused to swear, that Julie, I think is a monster and an abomination, which has haunted us through the ages, in various forms, with all it's chirping and warbling of "get over it" "rise and shine" "think positive" meanwhile whacking everyone's ankles wth secret malice.

Hi troosh
I'm not promising to do a Julie Andrews sonnet. But Mary Bobbins makes me so angry, it might actually produce a classic akin to Ginsberg's 'Howl'

Yes, Blanche
It's really the Julie that dominates our national consciousness that I don't like, in The Hound of Music, or Mary Bobbins. You know, the saccharine smile, the awful piercing voice and posh pronunciation. Yuk. I've seen the real Julie Andrews, and she's not evil at all! Mary Bobbins, what a supercilious, loveless young ice maiden.

Think of Julie in Victor Victoria, Tony, and maybe you'll see a different
more complicated Julie and not be so angry.

Hi folks
Sorry, i was tied up watching 'Monster' starring Charlize Theron. Not literally, of course, even though she was! Yes, I may be a Brit, but I reject the notion that I must love Julie Andrews. Have I made that clear? No? Alrighty then, I'll dedicate a full sonnet to her tomorrow, and state a few of my unfavourite things about her, in unloving detail. Or maybe not. i might get too angry.

So, Tony, would it be safe to say that you are the Anti-Julie Andrews?
These are a few of my (Un) Favorite Things. Try setting all that to music.
