Jane's
I can't hear waves on the 'beach'. I am about a block but it is all commercial and not much to block sound. It is lower than were I am too and those big tugs just swish and they are so heavy it reverberates in the ground, and my ear on the pillow picks it up like I was out there. I love it.

Ahhhh, delightful!
To think that you can hear the water from your bedroom window.  How I would love that! I live only 1.5 miles or so from the lake, but it's too far away to hear the sound of waves lapping on the beach or a boat sailing past.

The water ways are always fascinating aren't they? Our whole town is surrounded by water and it is beautiful everywhere you look. Be blessed. Thank you for stopping by.

Very pretty picture and so is the one you write! Nice to see white as a choice of color for the tugs, ours are typically dark and dirty looking...Making your salmon fillets today sweet one!

Hi, Justi.  I love that picture.  We have the same here, except it's on the river, the Ohio River runs right past town and there are benches set up all along the banks so people can sit and watch boats, barges, skiers, whatever may be going down the river.  It's a pretty sight.

How are you, my dear?  I send my love and best wishes.  God bless.

Oh that is so true. Those things disturb us only because we are sad at the deception; God's world is still turning. Be blessed, thanks of the comment.

Justi, This is a really good post, both the picture and the writing.  I really like stuff like this.  There is something special about things just moving on as they are supposed to no matter what's going on in the political arena or the weird news.

Hey, I think you & I will get along just fine.....

Hi there.  I'm a newbie.  I signed on about a month ago and am enjoying myself immensely.  I'm a bookkeeper by trade and have my own business, so still slaving away day & night, but writing is my passion.

I'm in the heart of Olympia Washington, off the Puget Sound. I enjoyed this post and the photo very much. You are living by and overlooking water, one of my most definate dreams and goals! I will be reading you!
