Churchill had, and still has, no greater admire then I, bit I must say that I'm a litle tired of this insulting myth of Britain standing alone in the early stages of the war.

Britain had a virtually bottomless pit of manpower in her empire who she could, and did, call to arms. Only shortages of materiel prevent Britain pouring a veritable torrent of men into her war.

It's highly insulting to all those Canadians, Anzacs, Indians and other who fought and died in WWII, to perpetuate this myth.
