I too have a problem with Bible addresses although I love the Bible as the One book of all time! But I don't ever know where it was I saw that. On the other hand my husband can quote chapter and verse from almost anything he hears. We all are just different.

You are in the world, but not of the world.....

I have an incredibly lame, inability to memorize chapter & verse.....I just love this quote from somewhere in the bible.  This is my life's moto.....

lol, it reminded me....my daughter turned 18 on the 31st and we had a party for her.  She was in deep conversation with her brother, 25-yrs old and all I got out of the conversation was, "And I live my life by learning from other people's mistakes! That is my life's moto," she says.  "You don't have to experience the mistakes yourself if you'll just pay attention to what other people have gone through, dah!"

It was hillarious.  She left this otherwise highly intelligent young man dumbfounded. (He's had a lot of learning to do these past couple of years).  I think he was getting a lecture from the young'en.

You are right we have been victimized by hate, vulgar and uncivilized behavior.

justi - what a spot-on post! "addicted to hating", that is exactly it,
what has gone awry with our north american culture.  being hateful and violent is the fad of the day.  it's unbearably sad and so many are suffering for it, both the perpetrators of the resulting violence and the victims of their angry ways.

Thanks. It is the insanity perhaps that allows us to be sane. We don't want a part of the contrast we see.

The way you wrote this
brought a wry smile to my face thinking of the insanity that sometimes surrounds us

Dear lady thank you for your beautiful comments. Many would argue with your about my sanity, but I don't worry about that; the Lord will take care of me. Be blessed.
