Don't strain your brain too hard, Wiley.
It's not worth it ... trust me.

Unfortunately, fourcats, it doesn't appear to.

Well, there's a plethora of different shades as well, Bhaskar.ing.

Your genius, I'm impressed. If he can stick it up his nose, all the seven colors of the rainbow, and still add on it the eighth, then yes, I agree that he must be a genius.

Actually, Tanga, my favorite color is Churchillian.

For real, Whacky ... he's amazingly talented and precocious!

Too late, Mason. I'm already hooked.

What happened to green, yellow and red?
I must try that crayon trick!

Eight? Up his nose? He is a genius!

And, you would be correct, Frankenkitty.

I think it's both pink and blue, Bandana ...
(presumably) based on a pregnancy test.

Colonoscopy? That's so wrong.
I'm guessing, brown.  Funny stuff

strangely, "morning after" reminds me
of me... and you! It's probably some subconscious thing. Anyway, it should be either grey/light/quiet blue, or dark/black blue, not solid blue, though.

It's a mystery, Kasthu ...
And yeah, Wisteria is, in fact, light purple.

posted by Mademoiselle on November 2, 2006 at 2:37 PM | link to this | reply

How do they come up with these names?? What happened to ROYGBIV?

I mean, colonoscopy (sp)?

I'm guessing Wisteria is something pink/ purple-ish, but knowing the Crayola spectrum, it could be anything.

No big loss, SuccessWarrior ...

I've never had much luck with contests, anyway.

The only really cool prize I can ever recall winning was a plush "Poppin' Fresh" (AKA The Pillsbury Doughboy) from a prize-grabber machine when I was around 12 years old. But, sadly, my brother ended up tearing it's head off in a fit of rage.

They had a contest a while back to have people name new colors
You probably would have won

They truly are, A + B.

One wonders how on earth they come up with this stuff?

posted by Mademoiselle on November 2, 2006 at 2:05 PM | link to this | reply

I'm sure the good people at Crayola will appreciate the compliment, Katray.

The names of the colors are inspirational.

I was just rummaging through a box of crayons..
for some unique color inspiration, but these shades truly rock!!!...:) Hilarious choices.
