Frankenkitty, they are the source for cultured milk
those cows. Travel does not make a cultured person. I was just lucky for a few years.

And i grabbed the opportunity i had with both hands.

I always feel so uncultured
when I read things like this.  You went to a Caberet in Sweden.  Wow. My neighbors are cows. Time for me to get a passport.  Take care Azur

If you had to comment and be friendly with all the bloggers who read your posts, you'd have no time for yourself, Azur.  I love your professionalism point of view as well as your writing, and I don't care whether you leave an answer to my comments or leave comments on my posts.  Just be here, OK?

don't be surprised if you find yourself singing abba songs for days after
seeing the show.

azur,
I like this piece, the dry humour and working in the abba song so well. I don't honestly think anyone should be perturbed if readers don't comment.. if feedback comes in that's good, and if it doesn't, fine too. writing is the main thing, though we do write for an audience.

Azur, my first thought was Alan Partridge, not Abba.

Not sure whether you're a fan of that particular branch of Steve Coogan's tree.

I'm worse than a silent reader. Sometimes I'm a silent non-reader.

Be you, ratings be damned.

Being "popular" on Blogit is like periodically pouring ligher fluid

on your hands and flicking your bick every now and again.

Being read, considered and appreciated is another matter.

But, of course, for either you must post well and often.

Welcome to the club.  I don't get how some people here have the time to read and comment on everyone.   But don't worry, I won't dislike you for being silent.  I'll miss reading your thoughts here, but we all gotta do what we gotta do.  Good luck and good writing.

In our language Abba mean is   "father .and fathers father  also some time for joke ...//

What makes you think people dislike you?

Oh, and I'm not very familiar with Abba's music. But what little I've heard was horrible!

I've learned there are three things
you don't discuss with people:
religion, politics,
and the Great Pumpkin.

Azur, as much as I am opposed to schmaltz in general, I have a soft spot

for a few musicals, if you can call Les Miserables a "musical", but also A Chorus Line, Fame, and a couple of others.  Abba was part of my teen/early adult years, always in the background, like my own personal soundtrack, "Chiquitita" , "Fernando", etc.  I remember my first wayward outing (I was such a good student), with my friend in her Love Bug, listening to Abba and playing hooky from school, drinking wine. Sadly, she didn't turn out well, and, me, I'm still turning out.

Anyway, sorry to ramble so much in your comments, I'm the opposite of the "silent reader" today, feeling a little feverish (that must explain it), mulling ideas, I dare to wish might become reality and putting the past to bed, as it ought to be, by making myself part-fiction, part-myth and part-real. I've even dressed for the part.

One more thing, before maunder off, I get more than a little irked at being told how to comment, when and what is and is not appropriate. Fine, let us speak for ourselves, but not with the moral authority of the burning bush.  I'd rather you stayed personally than feel compelled to leave by pressure to produce worthy comments, all in due time.

I was not too serious about the comment issue. I was probably stirring a little.

I have tried a narcotic of another life for this past week and it works well

Azur...
life can be so agonizing, I prescribe a strong dose of narcotics the ones that send you into oblivion for a week or two, the ones that send you in orbit on the moon, a planet where worry does not impedes...you fight on despite your predicament.
Why tell us of your surreptitious visits on the blog with missing comments. What we don't know won't hurt us, but you are too honest for your own good. I personally prefer no comment at all to a meaningless emoticon, or a non-plussed comment that reeks of obligation. I often think, they are only saying this to be nice, I can always say something nice I suppose it is good to find something positive in every one. It is not hypocritical is it?
Don't worry about bloggers, as if it mattered.
