MandaLee,
well, if you're sure, maybe I should start to think of moving beyond the thumb...

Hi SilverMoon!

How very nice to see you!  Had you been around, I might not have fallen for Sheri!

Yes, I am slowly mending, partly because of her ministrations, but right now I am more interested in finding out what's happening with you! I do hope you will post soon and let us know!

Blanche.,
don't think for a moment that I disapprove! It's just very unusual these days...

MandaLee,
forgive me, I guess I'm a bit slow tonight! I think I get it: your comment is the answer, if not to my prayers, at least to the rhetorical question at the end of my post! Yes indeed! Time will tell...

thanks for dropping in, even when I'm not entirely sure what you are sure of...

Well, I'm glad your body parts are mending satisfactorily...

but I think I'm a might jealous of sheri...

Only a self-imposed one, Nautikos, kind of a sheltered life, and not that
bad, all things considered to be sheltered from a lot of the world today.

were you raised in a convent?

posted by Nautikos on October 29, 2006 at 4:06 AM | link to this | reply

Nautikos, lol, what I had no clue about was the whole dynamic between men
and women. I was pretty clueless well into my thirties, just off in my own world, I guess.

exactly what was it you had no clue about???

Tanga,
I do see your point, believe me, every time I have a date with Delilah, er, Sheri, as I do today...

posted by Nautikos on October 26, 2006 at 7:54 AM | link to this | reply

Honestly, I wish I had known that a lot longer ago. I was sort of dense
about that, really had no clue.  Now, it's funny to see teenagers "working it", little minxes know their power all right.

don't you women love it, though, that you can tempt us so easily...

I would have given my knee and hand to Sheri
Ron would have played second fiddle

It's nice to have an active imagination, isn't it, Nautikos, you can skip
to the chase, without the whole messy reality thing. It sounds like you and Sheri have a wonderful relationship, and she may not even know it!

Dear man, don't you think men are so easy! Once upon a time there was a woman named Delilah who had a vast head of beautiful hair and all the other trappings and she was a teasing temptress who took her time in all things but she was the ruin of the man Sampson. Interesting article. You are improving, even I can see that.

Blanche.
I wish I could say that after the treatment we went for a long, leisurely lunch downtown, followed by a pleasurable afternoon getting to know one another...and I could, of course. But I won't! Because it won't be true! The truth is much more prosaic. I was simply busy with stuff. But I have another date with her on Thursday...

thanks, the motivation is certainly there...

Nuatikos? You said you were getting the "full treatment" at 11 am
You haven't been heard from since..your thumb must be feeling so much better.

Blanche.
tomorow at 11, as well as Thursday, and we'll have dates for many moons to come! She does all kinds of things. First I stick my hand in hot wax, and after she peels that off she massages my thumb as well as the rest of my hand, she uses ultra sound, and she has this little vibrator she applies to the scar tissue - it's an amazing production! And beautifully as well as cheerfully produced...

So..Nautikos, have you been seeing much of Sheri? How is your thumb
anyway? Are you going to need extensive treatment from her?

Wiley,

we have to see how this develpops. I hope this thing with Sheri doesn't drive my thumb to drink!

And another thing: I just noticed that I typed 'develpops' instead of 'develops', and I think I'll let it stand. I like he new word 'develpop'!

You think there might be a market for a book revealing the intimate details of the relationship between Sheri and my thumb? Of course, since it (my thumb, that is) is still a bit overweight, a book like that could always be serialized in Oprah's mag, whatever it's called...

Naut, with your body spread all over creation, it's a wonder our healthcare
system can keep up with you all..lol....I'm glad you don't have a neck in New Brunswick or some sort of locale....

Nautikos

With all that about your thumb and Sheri, I expect to see you progressing very rapidly on the road of the healthy living.

Now you are one person I will never use that 'Keep On Truckin' phrase old hoss.

Just get well.

Sounds like all your body parts have a tale to tell . Perhaps 'Sherri Heals The Thumb' can be turned into a book LOL. Seriously .. I hope all of your body parts come together and heal soon. Take Care!

Hell, I feel real bad! I haven't been reading you lately, and here you are shattered into small pieces. well, you could bin, couldn't you? And I wouldn't have known!

I do know the feelin' though ; bin a man of many parts all my life ('cept when I was a boy of course ), trouble is, none of 'em fit.

Keep well, and safe, amigo

That is a buff, good-looking GUY, lol, Naut, those are my inclinations.

posted by Blanche. on October 21, 2006 at 2:28 PM | link to this | reply

Very true, Nautikos, I feel the same exactly, if I were in your shoes and
the physical therapist happened to be buff and good-looking, I'd be much more inclined to want to follow through with treatment myself. Well, just so you get better, that's the main thing, and besides, it doesn't hurt to look.

muser,
what can I say? I too harbour the hope that her skill matches her appearance. Time will tell, but for now it is that thumb-less animal in me that keeps my thumb tethered to the delectable Sheri, until further notice at least...

it is far, far easier for me to follow a doctor's orders if they happen to coincide with my own inclinations...

BUT Naut...is she as good at what she does as how she looks! This is about
the thumb that's still attached to your body...you know...the all important thumb that separates from the animals?!

As entertaining as it was well written, Nautikos. I give it a
non-therapist-coveted two thumbs up.

Uh, Nautikos, you mentioned your therapist's flowing aurburn hair,
effervescent smile, and what was that. manicured hands at least 3 times. Is this a significant factor in your complying with your doctor's orders?  LOL, well, I hope you're getting better regardless. Time heals.
