Just go with the flow..
You'll be fine, but I know that I am an addict when it comes to writing!

Hi mommas...blog doesn't have to be something that you must do... let it
ebb and flow in a way that makes it serve you.  I am trying to learn things like this too...

Schatz, I made a deal with M, which I am not entirely keeping, blog one

hour, do household chores another, blog one hour, etc.  Come hell or high water I've hung onto my journals, even though I never look at them.  I just can't bring msyelf to tos them, even though I've lost just about every other worldly possession I owned, in the events of the blog you commented on in 2003/

We've started over, and I'm glad, but I get occasional twinges about things like my jewelry, sentimental, not veluable, but still cherished.

May it continue to just get better and better
Me, I am addicted to writing... get up a 3 am and write  etc   For me, it is spiritual practice.

Blanche, I feel the same way about my husband sometimes!!!

He plays a computer game that you have to shut down to get to the internet and I hate to ask him to do it. But he plays for HOURS STRAIGHT!!!

Pat B-thanks. That is why I stay here on Blogit. I've lost or destroyed my journals up until right before I met my husband. All my teenage years and most of my early twenties are gone. I think it's worth the $70 a year it costs me even if I don't make any money. With my popularity I make it buy one, get one free. I get paid $5 to $7 every other month LOL I mean it when I say I don't come here for the money. And once when I quit I did lose some excellent blogs and journals. I need to back it up.

Julia, I left you a comment on your blog. Thanks :)

schatz--
I think you should just blog when you feel like it and don't feel guilty when you don't. When did you move? I just moved from CA too after 28 years, I'm in the throes of trying to "adjust" to a whole new way of life and it is not always easy. But we do the best we can, right?

Actually, what you're putting online
is a very clear diary. I'd recommend that you save your stuff to your own files because one day it will serve as a beautiful snapshot and memory clue when you get around to writing your memoir or adding blurbs to your life scrapbook. Don't let them just disappear into the web.

Schatz, blogging's a guilty pleasure for me at times, too.

When my boyfriend's off, he gets the use of the computer, and sad to say, there are times when I'd rather he be elsewhere so I can blog.  I'm so bad!

Good luck with quiting smoking, if you're motivation is your kids' health, that sounds like a healhty one.

Sounds like you're making progress... that's a good thing, even if we
do miss you.
