So right.  Sleeping in has its own pleasures!

The moon was bright enough
to ensure that our dogs have been barking the whole time. It is sometimes nice to awake so early in the morning, but not every day!

it's way out of the city and a lot of driving.  The house, though beuatiful, requires a great deal of maintenance.  We also have a place in the city, where we spend the day.  So, it's literally two households to maintain and we are trying to cut costs, live a little more simply, so we don't have to work so hard to just keep establishments going. If we get the price we are aksing for the house, we can rent a house in the city for a couple of years, invest in something outside the city that we can rent out. And, we will hve some money in the bank.  That's the plan.

The same moon...
... was beautiful here too.  Last night as I drove home, the moon looked absolutely huge as it hung just above the horizon.  There were heavy dark clouds in the distance that would cover part of it from time to time, giving it an eery appearance, but later in the night it was the bright light in the sky you described.
