FMW, so I may go kayaking instead. I need to find a way to get out on
the water. I dug out a photo of a sailing trip, and I have an uncontrollable urge to be on the water, instead of just near it.

Freemanwalking, I so totally agree with you about salt water being the cure

When I'm walking down in Lincoln Park, looking back towards your old stomping grounds in Bremerton, I sometimes think of Annie Lennox's version of "Take me to the river, drop me in the water,"  and I have an almost uncontrollable urge to go swimming in the Puget Sound, and you know, that is not a good idea, because I'd be freezing right down to hypothermia in about 5 minutes or less.

I've done it at Golden Gardens in the middle of August, but only for a few minutes.

Anyway, I hope the fresh salt water helped  you with your melancholy nostalgia over K, come what may in that direction, whatever happens happens.   Life rolls on, and we deal the best we can.  Strat's come up with some good bouillabaisse, I want to try, and I have your jambalaya recipe, that I will try someday, soon as I find some okra.

You take care, with those cigarette and black coffee blues.  You are a fine guitarist, keep at it.

FreeManWalking, I was kind of hoping that you were going to say that you finally found her waiting for you at Radnor Lake.   I guess that was asking for too much.

This may be the quote of the century, Wild Bill:
"...life is too short not to allow yourself a few free passes when it comes to being a fool."

Good post, and not to quote Bill Clinton or anything, I feel your pain.
