I've never bought or even looked for something on e-bay. I'm planning on buying a digital camera soon, so this may be the chance to get my cherry popped. Queen V, on the other hand, is a veteran of the game. She bought the watch I'm wearing, an anniversary gift last year, and got one hell of a deal. I can certanly understand the allure.

Julia,
Yes, I suppose there are worse things, I do need tio get it under control though.  My most recent purchase just last night;  a 24" x 36" poster of ALF that says "Got Cat?"

Spitfire...
You are so right.  About a year ago I conducted an experimnent to see what people would buy on Ebay, I sold a dried up ostrich Penis, I sold advice using a picture of my fore head, I even sold my friendship for one month...all were purchased.

Alfy,
I actually sold a WWII dagger on Ebay a few years ago and a couple other things along the way. It's amazing, though, cause if you look around, some people will buy anything!

Well, Alf, he keeps bidding on this car salesman's tapes. Somehow it
seems fitting that the guy is a scheister. I'm glad to hear you've had good experiences.

Hey Blanch...
Thanks for reading.  No that has never happened to me, not yet.  Unfortunately everything has seemed very above board so far which makes it harder to stop, lol.

Alf, the elf, as Ebay-ho? Don't do it, Alf, don't sell that teddy bear!
My boyfriend is sure that there is at least one scammer on Ebay, who artificially jacks up prices by "bidding" against himself, then telling M that "lucky for you, our other bidder just folded, now you can have it at the low, low, low price of X".  Hmm. Has that ever happened to you?
