Thanks and I Agree
Unfortunately, the superintendent agreed with them and felt it was okay.  He had a problem in that area.  The powers are working on him now and he is learning how to handle his job!! It is awful!!

Nope, I would anger them because I am so very direct. Maybe that explains why I was entrepreneur and worked alone much of my life. lolHave a happy weekend my friend.

Sophistie,

If it is regarding your staff (or all employees you're "above" in rank) and those it relates to, send a memo to everyone. State where the decision making happens for certain things and what other job descriptions are and their limitations on taking on certain decisions on their own. Not that they aren't capable, but it is not their concern nor is it their responsibility. Make it seem as if you're taking the "burden" off of them by thinking they have to make such decisions and that it will not be tolerated anyway because the superintendant (or whomever is yours and the principals' boss is or are) will come down on you two for them making such decisions.

If it's regarding your clergy, send an anonymous letter! Tell him or her to get off their high horse and get real!

Sophistie, I don't think there is any way to bring them to their senses without offending them.

Maybe calm questions to figure out what they are thinking.

I've seen so many people in positions without authority doing just that...
Even their bosses seems afraid...
