Oh yes - reread the blog and it's come back to me.
Good one getting cuts and colours in exchange for copywriting - I'd do the same if I could.

Hi there,
I had something I wanted to say here but I've just drawn a complete blank. Now if that isn't blonde, I don't know what is.

lol, I wouldn't intentionally screw up my hair for ANY job!!
The richer they are, the worse the hair, i.e., Trump and Gates...

Love your ultimate decision, but not entirely sure it will work....
...also of course a bad haircut can take quite some time to reverse. Mind you I am guessing that you have to look smart first in order to get rich and only then having"proved" yourself may you get away with the messy look.

Well, it's nice to know I look "rich" because
my hair is fine, getting thinner, and so stubborn it won't do anything I want it to. I finally had it cut to look like a tossed salad on top of my head -- the cutter told me "never touch your hair with a brush or comb, just use your fingers" and handed me a jar of hair putty.  It makes the hair stand straight up in bunches, which is the goal, but I can't stand the crunchy feel of it.  I'm considering buying a hat.

I'll cut your hair for you. It will be truly awful then.

Ahem.
Well, ummm, errr, the hair thing. Most people I know who have a lot of money and bad hair, simply aren't interested in wasting the time at a salon, having to get to the appointment, etc. Hey, they can look however they want.  I guess I would not bill myself as "wealthy," but maybe I will have to make an appointment.

Money Does Not = Good Taste & Great Style
Unfortunately wealth does not always carry with it the class and style you would expect. On the contrary, oftentimes but not always, the more wealthy become quite guache. Especially if they did not work hard for it or have ever lived a hard life. Who wants a haircut when you don't need it to get somewhere or care what others think about you, or don't care about yourself? Sad but true.

I think people with money have bad haircuts because they don't spend

money on thier hair. That's why they still have it. The money that is.

Azur

I am sorry if that position doesn't materialize for you my friend.

I have noticed that about wealthy people too, bad hair. lol

Hmm, I wonder if that is why wealth has escaped me luv.

You're in my morning prayers my friend, I know what it's like to wonder about the next day, or week or month and how I'm going to make it.

You will make it luv.

Azur, I think I've used this line before in a blog, you probably remember

I had a coworker whose famous quip I still remember "With good hair, good shoes and a good handbag, a woman can go anywhere".  I'm not sure who you've been watching on tv, but Donald Trump springs to mind. He could afford to buy a hair transplant center, so I'm not sure what his problem is.

Anyway, this is frustrating for you, it doesn't seem to be the first time you've heard that line.  I hope you're wrong, though. These long, drawn-out multiple interviews must be a drain.
