I am tired a great deal, and have read just about every book on the subject
they didn't help cuz' I'm still tired and sick-and-tired of it!

Never tried it with a trailer.
But I can remember many a time I had someone on the handlebars or riding on the luggage clip on the back of my old red Schwinn. It did tend to build up the legs. Especially in the Sandhills of NC where I grew up. By the time I joined Uncle for three years I could run all day long.
