Azur, sitting on pins and needles is no fun
I only got a rough sense of the timeline involved here, but since you wrote "by this time next week" it seems like you have a week or so ahead of you, of waiting, wondering, going to the judges' seminar and practicing software.  I can't really offer any hints, this is way out of my league, but I do hope that you are chosen.  That would be the perfect gift.

I agree that it is best to best to be straight up. As for pushing myself, it is like pushing a trolley of lead uphill  at the moment but something will give  Ihope

I'm aghast at how much you push yourself, Azur.  With you there is no such thing as drawing a line in the sand.  When I first read your question about mentioning your interview, I said 'definitely No,' mentally, then immediately changed my mind.  Anyone of them who saw and spoke to you would think you were being sneaky if you didn't mention it.  Of course you should be imagining your future - that's what it is all about. The very best of luck, Prof.

I don't know what the future will hold,
but I know you will give this your very best shot if the job is yours.  The other thing I know is that I'll be praying for you.
