Kingmi, I'm not a big fan of Ralph Fiennes, but I liked him in "The English
Patient" and "The End of the Affair". I like British humor a lot, although I've kind of outgrown Monty Python, and I'm not into Harry Potter. I guess I'm both too old and magic makes me squeamish.

Blanche, I realy like that actor and I think the Brits are putting out some
great work. From Harry Potter to Trilogy of the Rings to James Bond to John LeCarre!

Kingmi, I saw Constant Gardener this year, but I see so many movies
that I tend to forget the endings, too. I remember that there was an NGO worker there who was a whistleblower. I don't want to say too much in case anybody else wants to see or read the movie or book. Ralph Fiennes played the diplomat. It was a disturbng movie, and it made me think that life, and politics are full of hard choices and gray areas.

TAPS, I loved the book. They say John LeCarre has "gone round the bend"
but I don't care. He can be as liberal and anti-Westist as he likes, just so long as he keeps creating those great characters, relationships between characters, and intense scenes.
