He sounds like a real cutie - kind of like my Michael. (It's his birthday today, by the way; he knows a whole group of cats that have the same birthday, including one who was rescued from the World Trade Center five years ago.)

I got my 14 year old cat
when she was about the size of a small bat. Actually I got she and her sister who died 6 years ago. I just took them to the vet, fed them and kept them warm. It helped that there were two to snuggle when I wasn't there.

Kittens are cute
I know he is cute now. But wait till he gets a little older, and he starts getting into stuff, and starts puking over your floor. Even better, drags your laundry into his litter box. I like my cat, and your right it is just like having a child.
