Exactly, growler. Just like that.

It must drive baseball nuts to see football overtake it during their seasons stretch run.  I remember when football season did not start until late September and all talk was of baseball's pennant races.  Not anymore.  As for me, I love this time of year so much that the date August 15 still sticks in my head.  That used to be the first day of football practice when I was in high school.

However, I do agree that the Panthers are strong. What about the Steelers?

Personally, I wish they'd never hired the guy. My views about him are
publicly stated.  He's an insufferable ass.  Now, I have to endure him as a Cowboy.  As for predictions, I'll wait a couple of weeks.  See how the things shape up and pan out.

Autumn is not necessarily my favorite season, but it's definitely in my top 4.

I do love football, though. In fact, I endure a two hour trip (to NY) every Monday morning just so I don't have to miss the end of the Sunday night game.

Meanwhile, I assume Jerry Jones was hoping for/anticipating a similar "grace period" to the one T.O. gave the coaching staff here (in Philly).

Super Bowl: Ravens over Panthers

BCS: Michigan over LSU
