It must drive baseball nuts to see football overtake it during their seasons stretch run. I remember when football season did not start until late September and all talk was of baseball's pennant races. Not anymore. As for me, I love this time of year so much that the date August 15 still sticks in my head. That used to be the first day of football practice when I was in high school.

Personally, I wish they'd never hired the guy. My views about him are
publicly stated. He's an insufferable ass. Now, I have to endure him as a Cowboy. As for predictions, I'll wait a couple of weeks. See how the things shape up and pan out.

Autumn is not necessarily my favorite season, but it's definitely in my top 4.
I do love football, though. In fact, I endure a two hour trip (to NY) every Monday morning just so I don't have to miss the end of the Sunday night game.
Meanwhile, I assume Jerry Jones was hoping for/anticipating a similar "grace period" to the one T.O. gave the coaching staff here (in Philly).
