Like I said, I could give a rat's ass as to your opinions, judgments, etc.
I keep coming back to see what amusement you'll cough up each time, with each comment. You never disappoint.
So many of the branches of Christianity you mention believe a whole lot of, well heck, not a whole lot. They go to church on Sunday and one wonders what was preached or what they heard, since it sure did not seem to have much of an impact on their daily life. But there I go judging, which is not my intent. Many of these branches have chosen from the Bible what they will and will not believe. Because they pick and chose to such an extent, one wonders why they believe any of it. For that matter, why do YOU spend so much time ranting about the Bible -- when you believe so little of it?
However, that said, I happen to know many really great Presbyterians (members of a large, conservative PC USA church) who do believe in the Second Coming of Christ and the Rapture. So please don't give me the bull about statistics. From what I have seen and read, many church members are not in agreement with the decisions of their leaders. Take, for example, the PC USA church and homosexuality. From what I've heard, a majority are not in favor of supporting homo marriage. Yet you would probably say that the PC USA is in favor of homosexuality, if the majority of leaders support it. Big difference!
OK -- waste of time here. Good night.

sorry janesopinion
but your views are definitely in the minority
let's just list a few of the Christian denominations that don't believe the way you do.
Catholic
Orthodox
Lutheran
Anglican
Episcopal
Presbyterian
Methodist
Latter Day Saints
Amish
Mennonite
Churches of Christ
Church of God
no rapture in their beliefs, no second coming either.
now to real figures:

Pentecostal/Charismatic | 3,191,000 | 4,407,000 | 6,219,569 | 2.1% | |
Assemblies of God | 660,000 | 1,106,000 | 1,560,890 | 0.5% |
what is the percentage/: we have 2.6% total here.
let's go ahead and add in the Baptists, because a baptist deacon I knew preached the second coming -- but i don't think he mentioned the rapture.
Baptist | 33,964,000 | 33,830,000 | 47,744,049 | 16.3% |
we have an 18.9 % here.
no majority here.

pseudo Christian, eh?
and 90% of Christians disagree with me? I doubt it. More likely, at least 75% of professing Christians would think you are out on Pluto, the dwarf planet, with some of your very odd ideas.
But I'm only guessing, and really I could give a rat's ass about it, since it is not my place to judge but God's. I'll leave that up to him and continue believing to the best of my abilities what I believe is the truth of God.

Don't be ridiculous, xenox.
Your comments are childish and churlish. Any sane Christian looks at the current events and realizes that these are part of the gradual unfolding of God's plan for the world. The key word being "gradual." I don't think anyone expected an instant Armageddon when Israel fought back against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
