Pets are sometimes angels with fur.
At least that's what Bo says.

A real beautiful read ! But about the best thing that I liked in the story was in the end - that of your realizing that it was she, after all, and not you, who was the saviour.

Dogs & Faeries are cousins--yes, I'm promoting haiku theme but Shakespeare
saw a foundling as a bone of contention and reunion between Oberon and Queen Titania, of the Faeries. And Puck is suck good luck--and fun-- eventually. Thanks for haik-ing

I believe that her time was short, too. Sounds like you have a great pet.

My dogs are as esteemed as my children. They are wonderful souls who teach me how to behave. Thanks. Butter's tumor seems to be growing, but he doesn't look distressed. He's very happy.

I LOVE animals... especially our special pets.
I have seen what seems to be geniune love from the eyes of my cats and dogs... wonderous, beautiful creatures. They are great in that they give so much happiness to the human family. Even lil fish and birdies : )

I'm not sure how to fix that. It does it on me, too. Perhaps you should put it as a post. Someone surely knows!

A good dog is hard to beat. You don't realize how good a companion they are until you are without them.

I've had little dealing with pure breds. But, I do think that animals never forget a kindness.

Yes, you are right Avant...who saved whom? As you know I have rescued
many animals too and they were always the best pets and most well behaved. I do think they realize that you saved them and they show their gratitude for their entire life. Wonderful story and hugs and kisses for Pepper and Butterscotch!

we adopted a homeless/wandering dog. to have this dog around is a blessing. so uplifting, people always laughing when it is near. i am always entertained at the language and energy people have around animals.

Beautiful story
I believe that such dogs are way much better pets and guards than those so-called pure-breds.
