Yes, Whacky, there was a Green Mansions--
I forget the author's name, but the story was a sort of fantasy about a girl who grew up alone in the Amazon rainforest.

Wasn't there a novel called Green Mansions?
Hope you had on your mosquito repellent!

Nothing wrong with reinventing your appreciation of things, Ciel.

Wonderful when it works that way, Jeremy!
Both getting what you asked for-- and realizing that you'd gotten it!

i just arrived home after hitch hiking coast to coast. i spent my money in the mountains and had most of the way to go with nothing. i prayed every night and morning and some on the side of the road. absolutely everything i asked was given me. i was stranded in wawa for a day and after writing out that i was hungry and asked for food, i realized there was a field next to me that was all you can eat blueberries and some raspberries, i must have eaten five pounds that day.

Sannhet, sometimes the relevant question is-- why did I want what I got?
