I've always been impatient, and in the back of my mind, I wondered if I could handle having them 24 hours a day. Well, it happened and I survived. Hell, I liked it! And, the rewards were immense. The boys crawled all over me and I was in heaven. What was I so afraid of?

Hahaha Avant...I expecially like your lesson of ......(to use your quote)
"watch all three kids for an unlimited amount of time without losing it completely." Hahahahaha

Well, it taught me a few things. One was not to condemn where I am, and think that being somewhere else will make it better. Another is that I know I can watch all three kids for an unlimited amount of time without losing it completely. I also have realized that one can only take so much stress. There were a lot of lessons in this.

Avant.......yes, it's very interesting how the whole thing unfolded.

What do you think was your learning in that stressful situation? It tends to change our perception of things.  Seems like it made you appreciate where you are and what you have now. That's great news!

Yes. A struggle is tiring and unhealthy. It's good to feel normal again.

It's funny how one decision can change the course of events so radically.

Your words ring true for me. I do believe we have help and find our way without too much difficulty. We will try again probably next year.

Not really. I've been mowing some. We just now started focusing more on being here, and the tree work is coming in very quickly. I decided not to advertise, and I've found more work than ever. I bought a stump grinder, too. I haven't forgotten you; it's been hectic lately. I promise I'll get you some books soon. I'll let you know.

Avant -
Funny what happens when one finally quits fighting and lets things flow, huh? And a St. Joseph statue doesn't hurt, either!

avant-garde, that sort of thing happened to us in the 1970's.  We never did move and once in a while, I have a fleeting wondering of what might have been if we had moved away to that different place.

I've been there - I know your feelings-
When you seem determined to make the choices God gives us, if they start leading you down the wrong path, you DO get roadblocks.  Mostly you stub your toe as you follow life's path, but when you run into boulders and the mountains, you can fight your way over them or back up, slow down and ask God to lead you down the best path.  It's when you surrender and quit pushing, that good things stack up to point where you should go.  I liked when you said you don't know what's ahead, but it felt good to relax again.  I'm glad you relaxed before getting slugged in the head.  I'm finding that feeling slugged in the head takes a long time to recover, for me at least.

In my own opinion I think the Almighty wanted you to stay there. Maybe that's why he put so many obstacles in your way. He has a way of getting his point across doesn't he! I am glad it all worked out well for you and your family!!
