That's fine. I knew it would be a lengthy reply. Take your time.

OH BTW, I will be emailing you today in response to your question.
Sorry I am taking so long, but my husband is on vacation and he is keeping me busy! He ran to the store and I am sneaking in a bit of blogging.

Thank you. I'd try to post a pic, but I don't think it would do it justice.

I wouldn't sell it for anything. But, I was certainly surprised to discover its worth.

Yes, I do. It looks innocuous sitting in the shadow box, but when I pull it out and show someone, they react the same way I did.

I was astounded by it. It took me a week or more to realize how valuable it was.

That's Neato. I am a collector of pretty rocks. I should photograph them
I lay them out like a collage outdoors.  So nice.  There are other worthy artifacts out there too... earth treasures are the greatest : )

Sounds like a lesson in so many of life's endeavors; when you quit trying so hard & if it's meant to be, it will happen for you!  I probably would not have figured out that rock from any of the others.  A shaman once said rocks (or stones) have frequencies and we are drawn to certain ones in particular.  Sounds like you had a good vibration!
