Naut not crazy at all
We all have things that tickle our fancy.  I think that is an interesting collection.

bel,

a lot of people who know me think I'm crazy (which may well be true), and believe that one of the symptoms is that I collect cups. I'm not talking mugs, or 'beakers', as the Brits say, but tea or coffe cups with saucers, and they have to be unusual, with strange colours, for example, or little feet! They have to be kitschy!

As a matter of fact, I am in the process of looking for a curio cabinet to display them properly.

People think it's particularly weird since I am a fairly macho kind of guy, and yeah, well, what can I say...

LOL Shelly
I'll make a point of stopping and getting one the next time I am there.  The last time I was in Ohio I was a bit distracted as it was along the turnpike that I got the call from Carl that he was flying out to Kuwait the next day.  I did stop at rest area and cry like an idiot in the parking lot, if that counts for anything.

Cats have a way of collecting humans as well.

I collect cats. I usually try to stick to figurines of cats, but you know,

sometimes I end up with the real deal too. LOL

Oh yeah, and shot glasses, when I remember. And magnets if I like them. Ok really, I'm a total packrat...I have everything tucked into the corners of this place. But I've gotten better. At least I don't collect dirtbags like I did when I was younger!! LMAO

I think this is a cool thing to collect....

And I've got a good one for you. When I was working in Aibonito PR in the 2004 hurricane season, I was staying at this hotel with a bunch of other inspectors, and this one guy next door to me was the worst prick on the whole planet...no exageration....what an ass!

Anyway, I didn't take any shit from him. Every time he'd talk down to me, I'd get up in his face and give it back to the little wienie-ass dickhead (I'm not still angry - really)

So one night he wanted to ride to the Cantina with me in my Trailblazer, so he was trying to be nice for once and he brought me several very cute keychains. I took them grudgingly and allowed him to ride with me, but only because I was sleeping with his room mate.

The keychains were nice but I couldn't bring myself to use them bec I didn't wanna be reminded of the little jack-ass.

I'll mail them to you if I can find them.

I collect dolls, figurines, and statues of witches ...

Meanwhile, I have an uncle who collects books of matches. He's got, like, 10,000 of them (from every imaginable place).

One thing kids like is to be tricked.
For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland,
but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse.
"Oh, no," I said. "Disneyland burned down."
He cried and cried,
but I think that deep down, he thought it was a pretty good joke.
I started to drive over to the real Disneyland,
but it was getting pretty late.
