I guess that's why I watch them all, Mademoiselle. To reinforce my
belief that the news has become commercialized editorializing through analysis and videotape.  Some are more subtle than others.  Fox doesn't even try to hide their slant.

Cal Thomas (of all people) raised an excellent point, which I shall attempt to paraphrase here (cause he worded it kinda clunkily):

Nobody watches the news to actually learn anything anymore; instead, they merely choose the channel that is certain to reinforce their beliefs.
