Beautiful... I love the wind
if I am indoors and warm, or if I am outside and wrapped up and walking with someone I love and whose warm arm around me keeps the wind from chilling my body. It reminds me of childhood, being tucked up and warm with the wind howling outside in a northern winter.

i enjoyd the quiet, sad candence & yet felt liberated by the poem
and its message. The soul has a hard time expressing truth in words.

That is beautiful Marie! Well written and obviously from the heart.
I like the concept of "rush slowly". Interesting contradiction in terms, yet how appropriate! I have done many things as quickly as I slowly can, like eating ice cream, no rush, make it last, but gotta eat it quick as I can!

So many people have these
"the well scrubbed past". I like this line.
