Did you see the photos of my vinegar made with day lilies? I bet you have restaurants in SL who fry day lilies. Thanks for reading and commenting. I enjoy your comments so much.

OFFBEATS
Lady if I lived close enough I just might invite myself for lunch. That sounds so good. I love homemade bread. I have not been making any lately, I must do that. I love the idea of a lunch packed. LOL Be blessed.

What a beautiful lily..very bright orange..and your memory of the butter and crackers is priceless. I bought a brick of homemade butter. Today I made the green beans with red potatoes, ham. Some of the butter was left out to soften. I put it on the homemade bread and dunked it into the greens and was simply delighted! Now you have me thinking about putting it on crackers...do I dare? When I was little my Mother would pack me a lunch because I would tell her I wasn't coming home all day

I don't fry them to make the vinegar. I fry them to eat. I make the vinegar for another use. It is my writing that is fried. I am more like those who vote. LOL

Maggie not the Day Lily. I will post some photos of the vinegar I make
with them. It is great for making salad dressing.

Interesting. I never thought of day lilies smelling. But some of them are heavy like funerals. I fry day lilies and make beautiful vinegar for dressings from them and put them in salads too.

I used to eat every mushroom I saw outdoors. One time I got very sick, but only once.
