For genuinely confused readers of this blog
I'm posting this here because several people have posted about their confusion. I hope it helps you to say that this blog contains posts at least loosely related to abuse of one form or another. I started it out in a different section, but when BN went through one of its regular reorganizations of the home page, Mihail and Humayun (The Powers That Be at Shaycom) put it in this neck of the woods. I was able at the time the blog was moved to open the blog up a little more; before, it was narrowly focused on male-female domestic violence, and I talked about my relationship with my former boyfriend, but then I went on to talk about more forms of abuse (child abuse, elder abuse, verbal abuse, etc.). The sole ground rule now is that every time I post to this blog (as opposed to Potpourri or The Secret Life of Cats, for example), I have to relate each post to either some form of abuse or to domestic violence.
If this doesn't help clear up the confusion, email me backchannel. Be forewarned, though - I don't take well to flames, either here in the comments or in private emails, so be careful what you say.
