I believe it is setting up the stage for the third prophetic war. I believe Russia will join with Arabic countries including those militant Islamic ones in N. Africa and go in to wipe out the Jews. That is only in the formation stages now. I do believe it will happen relatively soon. Russia is still ticked because it is no longer the super power. It wants to rule the oil with Arabic countries and it has the nuclear junk they can use. But there will be a supernatural blowup of that and it will take seven months to clean up the dead. We are a violent species. Be blessed dear lady, I do believe it is time each of us should get our house in order.

Justi, I heard on Fox that people are saying, this is the beginning of World War III and the end of the world.  Do you believe that?

It is the consequences of sin, simple as that. We can't have peace in an unredemptive world. Thank you so much for commenting.

Sometimes I just have to wonder: what's the point?
And why haven't they figured out, after 6,000 years, that when it comes to war, nobody wins.

When Russia joins a coalition of Arab states in war against Israel we will know it is too late for anything but prayer. I an not looking to hear of that. Your post was sobering where you said sabers rattling!

"storm the gates of heaven with prayer . . . " AMEN! Great phrase.

Perhaps it's violence like this that will draw more Christians to prayer for God's true peace.  It has been an honor for me, both AM and PM to pray for God's peace that only he can give in the midst of the madness particularly in the Middle East (but all over, too).

Good post, dear Justi!

Justi, there will only be peace in the Mid-East when God is ready for that to be.

Justi .. I know that peace seems to be a dream to many but it never hurts to storm the gates of heaven with prayer and shine your own unique light into the darkness.

You are so right. My husband and I do a lot of volunteer work weekly. It is the greatest blessing. So many hurting people. Hurting people are often angry people.

Justi, you ask many good questions. I don't have answers but you do.
At the end, you do seek His peace that may surpass any human understanding...but this is what drive sme do peacework as a volunteer: every small victory over one's own heart in saving it from cursing or wishing ill-will, everything word and deed that helps support someone in their peaceful efforts, echoes throughout the space, eternity and human consciousness. This is what keeps hope alive for those who would otherwise crumble with despair. People may not know it...like there is a law of gravity, but they benefit from it all the same. Not my words but of MICHAEL N. NAGLER, AMERICA WITHOUT VIOLENCE (1982). He also quotes Rabbi Aaron Tamaret, who said "Good actions set good waves moving in the air..."

Justi, true...peace will only come when He returns, and He will...
then the madness will cease..
