Mademoiselle,
I respectfully disagree. Regardless of the level of expertise, exorbitant charges are just plain wrong. That practice simply causes further suffering.

Rcky Mtn.,
I cannot fathom how you managed to pay that bill. I hope your cat fared well.
God bless...

.Dave.,
If you retrain, be kind and don't charge so much.

It is unfortunate for those who can't afford top notch care ...
However, considering we have several doctors in the family, I must ultimately disagree.
Besides, some medical professionals (such as my therapist, for example) really are well worth the seemingly exorbitant price tag.

Songbird....I can totally relate to this and I did a post about
my vet bill that was so outrageous about eight months ago. Our cat Powder had a stone in her bladder and it cost us over $2000. for the surgery and all the diagnostic tests before she even got to the surgery. The vets have joined the American Medical Assoc. with their astronomical charges! I feel sorry for the pets who have owners that can't afford those kind of bills...that just sucks! Very informative post...I hope your baby is doing okay!
