- Go to Bush ...again!
Thanks Damon...
You could not be anymore correct with that statement. I think the same thing to myself all the time.

The World...
...would definitely be a brighter place today if the American people had stood up in 2000 and said NO! to that fixed election.

The comments offered
an alarmingly simplistic analysis of the situation.

I don't agree with you...maybe your reading too much of the NY Times? Anyway, I stopped in to say hello to a fellow buckeye!

I actually consider most of his upbringing to be in Texas. I know he was born in Connecticut, but they moved to Texas when he was two and he lived their primarily until he was 13 until he went to boarding school. He also went back to Texas after college for the national guard and did some work in Alabama before going back to Houston again. I would not consider him to be raised on the east coast and would say that he spent the majority of his upbringing in Texas.

I suppose I could do an entire blog of Bush sticking his foot in his mouth.
Here is one of my favorites this summer...
President Bush: Peter. Are you going to ask that question with shades on?
Peter Wallsten of the Los Angeles Times: I can take them off.
Bush: I'm interested in the shade look, seriously.
Wallsten: All right, I'll keep it, then.
Bush: For the viewers, there's no sun.
Wallsten: I guess it depends on your perspective.
Bush: Touché.

Bush was the worst the moment the Supreme Court Selected him
Bush was selected, not elected.

It is worse than that
He is part of an intention to mislead like calling the terror we are committing all over the world a war to end terror. How can one end terror with more terror? Join terrorists for peace and commit only acts of loving kindness while demanding our governments back.

Right you are, DeIntinis. The man is convincingly bumpkinly. However, it
flies in the face of the fact that he was born and raised primarily in Connecticut and Maine and educated Ivy League. This only goes to show you his falseness, his phony "good ole boy"-ishness. And it is quite disturbing to see and hear people defend him as if he's some latter day saint (sorry, Mormons). He's an unmitigated ass without any social grace, presidential qualities, or personal credibility.
