Thanks for Commenting
The reunion was very enjoyable!!  We played games and had "guess or can you remember questions" that people truly enjoyed.  We had good food, drink, and time!  About a fourth of the class showed up!

I had to miss my class reunion 'cos of lack of
transport. I was a little nervous 'cos I'm twice the woman I was. (Literally). I didn't mind missing it though 'cos I've kept touch with those people who meant a lot to me.

I've never made it to a reunion
I was always too far away, however every six months or so now a group of old classmates get together for a lunch or dinner.  Another former school friend is godfather to my daughter and in the past fortnight I have been out for an evening with one schoolfriend - friends since the age of five and spoken with another. In a way I have no need of reunions as I have them often. I think theyu are fine although some people regard it as a competition I think.

Well, Sophistie,
I would definitely go to my reunion.  My classmates and I had the same relationships as every high school class.  Some were the in crowd, some the out crowd, some bullies, some bitches, etc., but life is too short to hold grudges and miss such rare opportunities, even if our stations in life are not where we'd like them to be.  On the other hand, if people have deeper reasons for not attending, then I understand that too.  Good post.  :)

I volunteered to do a dvd for our upcoming reunion ...
and only three classmates sent in photos. two are fat, one is skinny.

So, some of them are completely bald?!  That's weirdDo they, like, live near a nuclear reactor or something?

At any rate, I will more than likely attend my high school reunion(s) ... provided I was to remain much as I am at present (in terms of the physical and the financial).  Besides, I still encounter many of my classmates (every now and then), anyway.

Hi Sophie.....

I attended my class reunion and it was similar to what you posted.  The girl that was voted the prettiest was about 300 lbs. (I give her credit for showing up), the hunky bad boys were either in jail and could not attend, or were now cops, and the goofy nerds were the hunks with "BUCKS." Go figure! I hope you have a great time and hope you write a post about it.

My class has had 2
I passed on both.  I prefer not to go back to that time for many reasons.  For some it's a great trip down memory lane but for me most of it involved memories I prefer to forget.
