Glad I could bring back such fond memories
Yes, mac n cheese (like kraft), only leaving out the milk in the end, and adding a small can of canned tomatoes(cut up), or diced tomatoes. Can also add shredded cheddar. We usually heat on the stovetop to save time, but grandma baked hers in the oven.

I'm Italian, my mom was a great cook so fortunaltely there are too many to choose from, but if I had to I would have to say her "Strufoli" (Fried, honey soaked pastry shaped in balls). Thanks for this post and the memories!

My mom made fudge and spread it on graham crackers
While it was still warm. I love those even today but never make them because of the calories.

Well, my Mum made pumpkin scones - they are deeelicccious. and I've made them down to every single ingredient (and I'm no lousy cook) and they never taste the same. Mum's put some love in while cooking, no recipe could impart that.
Oh oh, and she always made tomato soup and toasties on winter days. ahh..memories. Great blog!

Yuck! LOL
I have never tried it nor have had it forced on me, and unless it ends up being a miracle cure for something I get, I don't believe I'll be trying it in this lifetime.
