That's right kingmi. If Mom approves, Fox must be OK, eh?

Taps, that's a great idea . . . reminder.
I have actually tried swimming with my glasses on, but was too fearful I'd lose them (at the time my ownly pair).  You're right though, vision is much improved even with wet lenses!

JanesO, my mother eats in the livingroom in front of FOX News. She's a
Yellow Dog Dem. like most of my sibs.  Can't say FOX is skewed if she likes it.

JanesOpinion, would you believe that I just have always gone swimming with my glasses on.   I can see better with wet glasses than without any.   When I want to dive in or jump in or swim underwater, I just take them off and fold them and hold them in my hand until I surface and then I put them back on.  You would not believe how many people have said to me, "Do you know you have your glasses on?" like it was something real unusual.   LOL

R_I you live in Ontario?
I guess I did not pick up on that.  Yup, we're not far away, you and I.  I actually have a number of relatives living in ON -- in the Ottawa area.  It's a beautiful province!

Whacky, you think so??

I debated kissing him, but decided he was small enough that he might just jump into my mouth.  The thought sort of grossed me out.

Actually, I was swimming laps, and was afraid when coming up for air that I might accidentally swallow him.  So . . . I took measures.

Glad you approve!

I think you did the right thing with the frog.

Also my folks would plan meals around the TV too. Dad had a small one on the kitchen table!

Good question, Nautikos, and I'm not the right one to answer.
I'll have to query my mom.  What I do know is that you can actually make soup IN the VitaMix.  Keep it blending long enough (just a few minutes) and the motor will heat the soup to steaming hot -- you don't need a second pan to cook.  From what I've been told, the blade is so sharp and strong that you can put in things you might not normally and it will pulverize it.  Call it an ultra heavy duty blender.  I'll have to ask her what other things this can do that other blenders cannot.

Jane,
well, frog princes and all, I'm glad you're having a good time! But I meant to ask you the other day: what the Dickens does a Vita Mix do that my blender or my food processor can't? (I should mention that in this family I am the health nut, not my wife who, among other unspeakable things, can't get enough of french fries!)
