stone haiku vs. stonefaced writer
rock of the ages
bears multitudes of sand grains
bread of life, staff, love

TAPS - it's never too late to start up again. I get on a roll and then...
I find myself wrapped up in this or that, but I always come back. I am actually trying to put together a book of military poetry, one of general poetry, one of haiku/senryu and one of photoart. Quite ambitious for somebody with no money but what the heck!?

I love these, Swftfox. This is what I used to doo--take a photo and then write a haiku to go with it. I don't know why I stopped.

the make the haiku more enjoyable though at the same time the can preclude the imagination.
I like that line - a stone is just a stone. so obvious and so good!

Hello Dave-who's-into-haikus
I'm another Dave-who's-into-haikus. I've been visiting a while, but not commenting. Because I've been quiet, not rude. I've enjoyed your stuff. I'm going to hand in my homework too. This is a haiku about a rock called the Bowder Stone in the Borrowdale Valley near Keswick, England...
Bowder, you're bolder
Than any mighty boulder.
You stone me, dear stone.

swiftfox, my homework vis-a-vis your first photo.
Safe looking footfall
icy cold water and moss
Green slime, time forgot.
